Dan Doty

Dan Doty is an executive coach, consultant, wilderness guide, and master group facilitator with over 10,000 hours of experience leading groups through complexity, change, and growth. He works with founders, executives, and leadership teams who want to build trust, alignment, and performance without losing what makes their work—and their lives—meaningful.

Dan’s approach is deeply informed by years working in the wilderness, where leadership is practical, relational, and consequences are real. This background shapes how he helps teams navigate uncertainty, make clear decisions under pressure, and move forward together with integrity. He is known for creating spaces where hard conversations can happen productively, momentum can return, and leaders can grow into the next version of themselves.

A sample of his clients include: YouTube, eBay, the AFL, Stanford Graduate School of Business, SCA Health, Alloy, Match Group, and Casper. Dan has spoken internationally on leadership and human connection, and his work has been featured in The New York Times, Men’s Health, GQ, and The Washington Post. Dan lives in Colorado with his wife and three children. He is a longtime Buddhist practitioner and is happiest hiking, camping, or just being in the mountains.
